Yankees Offseason Review

As the offseason baseball moves go on, Yankee fans have been mostly let down. Brian Cashman tried to get Cliff Lee, but he said no as he will help Philadelphia's rotation. Along with most Yankee fans, it was very disappointing to get so excited for the possible signing of Cliff Lee, then to get upset about only having three starters so far. If Andy Pettitte comes back for another year, then that will help, but it still puts us in the same predicament we were in last year, which was putting all the pressure on CC Sabathia to win 20 games.

Meanwhile, with Boston loading up on big name players like Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford, the Yanks need to watch out as 1st place only becomes less and less of a safe bet. Although they signed Russell Martin and Mark Prior, the Yankees really were not themselves in the free agency period and didn't make any big moves. It will be a good season, though, as always. Only 91 days until Opening Day!!!
