He said he plans on winning 14 titles as a Yankee. Not really but I think he should have stuck with 28 and make Girardi keep 27. It will be kind of dumb to keep changing your number if your Girardi. If he is here and wins number 31 he cant take the retired number 32 (Elston Howard). And if he does become a great manager and wins a lot of world series he wont be able to have a number retired either.
Here is a tough picture to see. But I wish the best of luck to Hideki with the Angels and im glad he will be at the home opener to get his ring.
