The Yankees showed up tonight, wrapping up a series win in Texas. The Yankees dominanted the Rangers on all levels tonight, winning 9-2 on 15 hits, and extending their franchise record of errorless games to 13. The Yankees have been crushing competition of late with all the pieces finally dfalling into place. Burnett pitched a gem today of six innings three hit ball, and Hideki Matsui busted out a of a slump going 2-4 with two homeruns and 3 rbi's raising his average to .257 on the year.

Yankee Notes
- Jorge Posada will rejoin teh team on Friday when they travel to Cleveland

- Melky Cabrera may be out 5-7 days, if his MRI shows further damage he will land on teh DL

- Brian Bruney came up clean in his visit with Dr. James Andrews (3 scariest words in major league baseball) however he will be out atleast another 3 weeks

- Chien Ming Wang has lowered his ERA to an astonishing 22.50

- Last but most definitley not least, with the Red Sox loss and the Yankees win, the bronx bombers are now tied for first. The Yankees havent been tied or in first place since the first week of last season.
